The Location
The 4* Hotel Zurich St. Gotthard is located along world-famous Bahnhofstrasse. Zurich's main avenue and internationally one of the most exclusive shopping boulevards in the world. Top restaurants, luxury boutiques, renowned jewellery shops and world-famous Paradeplatz financial centre are lined up here. The pedestrian zone, designed by Arnold Bürkli and modelled on the boulevard in Paris, is mainly car-free. From the Top View rooms at the St. Gotthard, you can enjoy a prime view of the lively goings-on.
There is a direct train connection to the airport from Zurich main station - just a few metres from the St. Gotthard Hotel Zurich. The National Museum Zurich and the Europaallee Passage are located here. All of Zurich's sights, the Old Town with Rennweg, Schipfe, Lindenhof, Augustinergasse, Niederdorf and Oberdorf, Fraumünster and Grossmünster are within 400 to 700 metres of the hotel. The same applies to Lake Zurich with Bürkliplatz, Bellevueplatz and Sechseläutenplatz.
